Equestrian Events Inc. (EEI) is cancelling the 2020 Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event presented by MARS Equestrian™ and the Kentucky CSI3* Invitational Grand Prix presented by Hagyard Equine Medical Institute. The events had been scheduled for April 23 - 26, 2020 at the Kentucky Horse Park, in Lexington KY.

March 23, 2020 – In its daily situation review, the Spruce Meadows Organizing Committee and the Spruce Meadows Crisis Management Committee have arrived at the decision to cancel the remainder of the Winter Farewell tournament’s weekend competitions currently scheduled for March 14 and 15.

Calgary, AB, Sept 23, 2019 – Induction into the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame is the highest honour that can be bestowed by the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA). Those chosen for induction are recognized for their lifetime of accomplishments and service. No one is more deserving of this honour than the late Hans Hansma of Alberta, Canada. Hans was inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame on March 10, 2019.

Tim Stockdale, the British Jumping athlete who was a member of Team GBR at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, has passed away after a short battle against cancer. He was 54. He was a passionate supporter of all aspects of the Jumping discipline, both as an athlete and as a trainer, and was proud to have jumped on British teams in the FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2002 in Jerez (ESP), the FEI European Championships 2009 on home soil in Windsor (GBR), and more than 50 FEI Nations Cup™ competitions.

Wrapping up the FEI World Equestrian Games 2018 (WEG) with this fourth report, it’s been almost two weeks of ups and downs and bumps in the road, starting with Hurricane Florence bearing down on the Tryon International Equestrian Center as the 13-day event began on September 11.

At Tryon 2018 FEI World Equestrian Games - Welcome to our third report on the FEI World Equestrian Games 2018 (WEG) currently underway in Mill Spring, North Carolina. The 13-day event, which began on September 11, has seen more than its share of challenges due to Hurricane Florence, and on September 15, two horses pulled up lame during the Mars-sponsored cross-country phase of the three-day event competition and received immediate veterinary treatment.
